Guidelines
  • We only accept Digg links, not links to your content.
  • In other words, your link must start with http://digg.com; however do NOT submit Digg links directly to your content (short URL) like http://digg.com/q1ASDf.
  • Spend some time writing a good Digg title and description of your story.
  • Stories generally need between 100 and 200 Diggs to reach the front page.
  • Do not submit articles that would very obviously never make the front page of Digg. This includes articles written in languages other than English. Please wait a few days between submitting advertisements from the same source.

  • Here are some additional tips that may help you not get banned from digg:
    1. Visit the story link - When you arrive at the digg page don't digg straight away. First click the story link to visit the page and then digg it. This is because digg have an "onclick" javascript event that tells them if you actually read the article or not. Too many diggs without reading the stories may get you banned.
    2. Digg around - Don't just digg the stories that you find on youdigg.me. Digg other stories too, Some of the popular ones and some of the upcoming ones.
    3. Don't comment for the sake of it - making pointless comments alerts other digg users that something may be up and may cause them to bury the story.
    4. Don't digg everything on youdigg.me - Don't digg every single story submitted to youdigg.me. If it's obviously a spammy article just click "skip this story" and go on to the next. If it becomes obvious to digg that spam is getting through they will be more likely to crack down hard on us.
    5. Don't exchange for too many diggs - youdigg.me has a limit now on how many diggs you can get now. Too many and it looks suspicious. The key is to make everything look natural.
